Please note that if you have an HMO insurance policy and a Primary Care Provider (PCP), you need a referral to see one of our providers. Check your insurance card for the word ‘HMO’ or call your insurance company’s 800 number to confirm your plan type. To avoid needing a referral, you can change your PCP to one of our Apollo Wellness clinicians to establish care with us instead.

Apollo Wellness is such an amazing healthcare provider. As a former social worker, I can say that the staff here are very culturally competent. I appreciated the level of comfort I felt to talk about anything I needed. Sammy and Rosemary served as my primary points of contact, and they could not have been more pleasant. This is such an amazing clinic with amazing staff. I always feel welcome and comfortable with Dr. Rosemary and the staff. The staff and doctor always have such a great attitude and vibe. I’ve been coming here for quite a while and definitely would recommend it to others. It won’t disappoint.
Let me preface this by saying that I look forward to every appointment in the future with Apollo Wellness! From the first greeting as I walked in to the wholesome good-bye as I left the building, my experience was impeccable. 100/10 recommend! Especially anyone who identifies as LGBT. They offer primary care, amongst other services, and are super professional and respectful about the intake/initial consultation process.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Thackeray, and I felt like she really listened and responded well when discussing my health care. Not once did she ever make me feel unsettled or uncomfortable, which is one of the issues I’ve had with PCPs in the past. She was respectful and well-spoken and maintained a gentle beside manner when talking about things that aren’t the easiest to discuss.
I appreciated how focused and understanding she was, and how easy the whole thing seemed once it was over.
The staff alone were super respectful and very hospitable. I was nervous jumping into a new doctor’s office and finding the perfect PCP for me, but thankfully, with the help of the bubbly staff and the very calm atmosphere of the place itself, I was put at ease in no time. I look forward to recommending this place to my friends and family, and returning for future care.
I’ve always struggled finding a PCP… until Apollo Wellness! All the staff and providers are welcoming to the point where you can actually tell them what is going on with you, health-wise. This is a judgment-free zone 100% and I haven’t received better care anywhere else. I recommend Apollo Wellness for those who want a 1:1 patient-provider connection where you, as the patient, participate in your own health. You can’t go wrong by booking your first appointment here!
